Danni earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and she is pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Liberty University.
Danni specializes in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, family conflicts, parenting challenges, and racial or cultural identity. She also offers counseling in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, allowing clients to express themselves in the language that feels most natural to them.
Danni has experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including multicultural individuals and families, members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans living with PTSD, and women navigating pregnancy and postpartum. As a SYMBIS-certified (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) counselor, she also helps couples build strong, resilient foundations.
Blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Person-Centered Therapy, Danni helps clients understand how their thoughts influence emotions and choices within a warm, nonjudgmental environment. She tailors the therapeutic process by drawing from additional approaches based on each client’s needs and goals.
Outside of her professional work, Danni values her roles as a wife and mother, which deepen her appreciation for the joys and challenges of relationships, parenting, and balancing life’s many responsibilities.
If you’re ready to take the next step or have questions about whether therapy is the right fit, Danni welcomes you to reach out. She can be contacted at danni@sittingwellcounseling.com and looks forward to connecting with you.
